Study and Work in Poland for International Students
All full-time students who possess a student visa or a temporary residence permit, EU / EEA citizens and holders of the Card of the Pole do not need a work permit at all.
Almost every university in Poland has a career office. The Career Development Office assists students and graduates in finding them a suitable place on the labour market. The services of this office are free for students and it is always worth using them.
As a graduate of a Polish higher education institution full-time program, you don’t need a permit to work here.

Cost of living in Poland
Are you wondering how big the costs of living in Poland are? Don’t worry – they are not high. The currency in Poland is Polish złoty (PLN). Today EUR 1 = PLN 4,50 or USD 1 = PLN 3,83.
The place in dormitory costs PLN 490 per month (double room) and the cost of a bus ticket is between PLN 1,50 to 3,00. If you want to drink a cup of coffee at McDonald you can buy it for PLN 5 and eat a Cheeseburger for PLN 4,5 what means EUR 1.

Document's needed upon rectruitment
Below we present the basic documents what you need to study in Poland. In European Union we have two different types of study – Bachelor degree (3 years or 3,5 years in BSc) and the second is Master degree (2 years).
If you want to study bachelor degree you should provide:
- Passport scan
- Original school certificates and diplomas
- Eligibility letter – NEW Eligibility Statement
- Language certificate (if you didn’t learn in English earlier)
If you want to study master degree you should provide:
- Passport scan
- Original BA diploma with stamps of full legalization
- Language certificate (if you didn’t learn in English earlier)
Remember that your diplomas should contain stamps of full legalization.
To sign your study agreement you will also need a medical certificate, health insurance policy and a photo.
